Missing cat on the Ladder: "Fred"
Could people please keep a look out for an extremely shy mainly black and partly white cat called Fred.
He was spooked in the garden yesterday at 26 Hewitt Road and he disappeared through neighbour's gardens heading towards Wightman Road.
He has a distinctive face with a streak of white and he has two white paws and a white chest and tummy. He was a rescue cat, is quite a big boy but is very shy.
News of any sightings would be gratefully received.

Keeping the post alive as Fred is still missing after a week. Thank you everyone for continuing to look!

I’m beyond happy to report that Fred has been found in Effingham Road and he’s now safely back home. Poor thing had a carrier bag wrapped around his back and legs. Thank you so much everyone for keeping your eyes out for him.
I bought a trail camera to put in gardens following sightings which is always here now should anyone wish to borrow it.
