We hope you had fun, loved the food and drinks, art exhibition, entertainers, dancers, band, DJ and kids activities.
This wouldn't be a success without the residents supporting it, so it's very cool that so many of you came today. If you took any pictures, we would love to see them!
Last but certainly not least, thanks to Liz, Lizzy, Priya, Ebony and Paul Harding, John, the volunteers, Matt Cuthbert for designing our amazing posters, Winkworth for their support...and thanks to my co-organiser, Phil K.

Andy Newman helped publicise the event and was instrumental in negotiations with the Kurdish Community Centre.
However, will anyone fess up to being warned off from helping by the GRA? Anyone?

I went along to this party on my own, met several people I knew and stayed for an hour or more. I thought it was a good do and (even though I probably don't fully understand how much work went into organising it) it was a credit to all the people whose energy and ideas brought it about. I think Jessica and Nick were the leaders so thanks to them especially.
