Leaflet for GP Surgery

Hello

I live on the ladder and some time ago received a leaflet from a new GP surgery.  I believe it was in / around Stoke Newington or Seven Sisters Road.

Did anyone receive the same leaflet and, if so, do you recall the name of the practice?

I need to sign up to, and see, a doctor ASAP.  The reviews of the GP's on / around green lanes are dreadful!!

There is ( or at least there used to be ) a maximum distance from the surgery premises. I used to be registered with a GP just north of Clissold Park and was asked to find another because I lived too far away. ( 2 miles perhaps ).

try the Vale practice in Park Road N8 they are fantastic

Marvelous.  The reviews on the NHS website are higher than any of the others I've seen and, having visited their site, I'm glad to note I'm within the catchment area.

Thanks Odette for your recommendation. I am going to register there. Jane unfortunately the Crouch Hall Road surgery would not take me on as I am out of their catchment area. But the Vale practice said they would register me. Personally I would avoid the Bridge House surgery at all costs. It is the worst practice I have ever experienced. Apallingly rude reception, inefficient, and virtually impossible to get an appointment. Which is why I am desperate to find an alternative even if its further away! I hope the Vale practice will be a considerable improvement.

Crouch Hall Rd Surgery, Crouch Hall Rd, just off the Clock Tower. they have a website.

I recommend them, been a patient there for over 25 years.

I recently signed up a couple of people, so I guess they have spaces.

We've been with The Bridge House practice in Umfreville Road, and they have always been very good. I've been with the practice since 1989, my wife and mother-in-law since 1996.

I'm registered with Bridge House and their standard of care is exceptional. Joanna Hass is a gem (she recognised an illness I 'd had for years and no one else picked up) and they got me free chiropractor treatment for a tennis elbow. Hard to get an appointment though.

sorry to be the breaker of bad news but unlikely to be in their catchment area if its that far away so not sure why you got leafleted- but as a health proffessional would def recommend the cedar practice, woodberry downs,n4 and you should be in their catchment area if on the ladder as thats where i live
