La Vina Tapas Bar and Restaurant has reopened, after a long wait and an uncertain outlook. As well as tapas (served 1700-2200 weekdays, 1400-2300 weekends) they serve coffee, opening at 0700 to catch commuters - so 'But First Coffee' the other end of the Harringay station footbridge has competition.
They also now sell Spanish foods and provisions from the mezzanine area at the rear of the restaurant.
There's no current menu I can find online - all there is is their Facebook page. Photo of menu below, sorry about the image quality. House wine is £17.50 bottle/£5.25 glass - I don't know how long the wine list is.
Phone (020 8340 5400) is answered promptly.
Edit: proper spelling is La Viña, just for John D.

We are delighted it has re-opened as we had really missed going there. We had supper there last night and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We shared tortilla, potatoes in garlic mayonnaise and pollo al diabolo (chicken in a spicy salsa) and chicken croquette - all of which we used to have in the "old days". New on the menu is the wonderful Ensalada Chef - mixed leaf salad, topped with anchovies, artichoke and avocado. I had house red wine and my husband had Estrella - a Spanish beer. It was great to meet other former regulars and chat about local changes.
We have also dropped in for coffee in the afternoon and thoroughly enjoyed the home-made cheese cake.
An update on La Viña, as we went there tonight.
The shop part has now gone so the whole place is back to being a restaurant. The food is excellent, I'd say as good as before it closed, and now it's feeling a lot more cosy sitting up in the back half. I recommend it, but it could do with some support, it was really quiet tonight.
They now have a website too:
Went on Saturday night. Sadly, it was almost empty (just four people). Strange, after it was so busy on Friday. I hope people will support the restaurant, or it won't last.
Shout out for La Vina: we had a fab paella there. Would recommend!
