Knitting and crochet courses in Haringey libraries

Popular knitting courses at Haringey libraries are back, with crocheting courses also now on offer.

The free courses run for six weeks, with experienced knitters on hand helping you cast on and off and giving you the knowledge and techniques needed to learn to knit.

Courses begin as follows:

* Knitting and Crochet at Coombes Croft Library, Tottenham High Road N17
Thursday 27 November, 3.30pm to 5pm;
* Crochet, Hornsey Library, Haringey Park N8
Saturday 29 November, 11am to 12.30pm;
* Knitting, Muswell Hill Library, Queen's Avenue N10
Saturday 29 November, 2pm to 3.30pm.

Courses will break for two weeks over the Christmas period.

Children welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Bring your own needles and yarn or these will be available to buy on the day.
