Kitchen Appliance recycling, reuse or second hand shop
Hi All,
I remember some mention earlier of a shop near Finsbury Park that sells/recycles old appliances.
We have a few kitchen appliances to offload. I originally tried Cash Converters, and then tried giving away at a couple of charity shops, but as they are un-boxed, there some policy about not taking food preparation/cooking appliances.
If anyone is interested we are getting rid of:
1. George Foreman Grill
2. Phillips HR1861 Juicer
3 morphy richards fastbake breadmaker 48261
All are used but still have original manuals and all/most accessories (Missing the Jub for the Juicer).
Any reasonable offer accepted.

Bright Sparks, which used to be next to FP tube, has moved to 176 Seven Sisters Road, N7 7PX. They take in electrical goods dead or alive, repair them if poss, then sell them. Other drop-off places are listed on their website.

Bright Sparks have relocated to a fantastic new shop at 176 Seven Sisters Road, N7 7PX. Not only can you still bring your electrical items for donations or repair, you can now buy furniture, bric a brac and household items as well as electricals. All prices are very reasonable and there are some real bargains e.g. wardrobes from £30, kettles from £3.
The furniture is supplied by the housing department who clear empty properties (by arrangement with their previous occupiers). Bright Sparks then repair and sell the items. This diverts the items from the rubbish tip and saves the council money as well as providing great items to residents for reuse.

Last time I asked, the Raising my Voice Foundation charity shop on Green Lanes, roughly opposite Iceland, was happy to take working electrical items and will collect locally. Haven't got the no. handy but I put the details in a reply to a similar query a few weeks ago, so you could search on Hol for it.
