Stall is here until 4pm, lots of sales despite the rain, still plenty left!!!!

Free tea!
This is a bit slow up the top of the ladder. Lots of kids stuff on Lausanne Rd.
Shame the weather was so rotten, but Alan actually really enjoyed himself, sold loads of plants and bee & bughouse and took orders for more. We met lots of nice people and we really hope this goes ahead again soon.

The ladder is a very "long" place and I think it's tricky to do stuff like this away from the central "family" area between the schools.

Yes Alan had one of the best stalls - so many beautifully made products to choose from - we've put up the bee & bughouse already - glad we got one for a friend as well, makes a great present. Plus we've already planted the marigolds under our street trees!

hzonestly it couldnt have been a worst day weather wise- your stall was amazing- gazeebo was def the way forward- What a fantastic idea, and I know in my brief chat with Nuala, she mentioned maybe sept- please, I like the sound of the cakes etc..

Well done all of you who persevered the weather and set up anyway- sorry i never made it further than fairfax road, as it had been so dead up there, thought that was it

Thanks tigha, nice to see you today :)
Is there any update re possible Jumble Trail in Sept?
Mags
Thanks Justine! Was lovely to see you both :)
its a shame about the weather, it would have been a different story had it been fine. Having said that we sold far more than we thought we would have even with fine weather. It would be nice if we could have it more concentrated next time though.

Also there were a couple of people who reserved items and didn't come back to collect, probably due to the heavy rain (don't blame you!) if this was you, or if anyone wants any plants, hanging baskets, window boxes, bug houses etc give Alan a call 07847380123 and he can deliver in his car.

Despite the rain, we got some bargains yesterday - toys, books, plants, a bug house from Alan, lots of nice cake and biscuits, and even a free Cluedo game (thank you to the women in Burgoyne Rd who donated this to my kids who spent the afternoon losing to their Dad at it). Also a really good way to meet the neighbours.

Part of the problem with the ends was not knowing if people were out or not in the rain. We stopped at Beresford as we were getting quite soaked. Bargain hunters were swapping tips as to who was open and Lauren's expert use of social media was helpful, also people who put up signs at the Harringay Passage junction helped us to find the ones at the far ends of roads. For the next one, all of these actions could help drive people to the stalls, I think. We'd certainly have walked further even in the rain if we could have been sure of finding a stall.

We would definitely like to do another one, would be even better if we could do it indoors somewhere, or is it possible to get everyone together in one space outdoors with gazebos? Shame we can't just close one of the roads!
