Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Back in July I wrote on here that the Harringay Village Fete on 3rd July was going to be "a punch in the face to Covid-19". Sadly Covid-19 punched us in the face and we had cancel the event. (Nothing dramatic; just a truly terrible thundery forecast that never actually happened.)

BUT. It's coming back. On Saturday 11th September, 12-4pm. We are glad to offer a warm draught of community spirit after a particularly arduous 18 months.

Featuring:

  • Bouncy castle
  • Papa Gee's Crazy Ice Cream Truck (12-1pm)
  • BBQ
  • Curry Goat
  • Tombola
  • Book table
  • Tea and coffee
  • Children's craft activities
  • A chance to wander round our unique church building

And two baking competitions, judged at 3pm:

  • Best Amateur Sourdough in Harringay
  • Best Harringay-themed Bake (judged in age bands 0-7, 8-11, 12-17, 18+).

Entrance is free. You're welcome to stop by and enjoy a little of English country village spirit on the Harringay Ladder.

Best wishes,

Pastor Pete

Priest in Charge, St Paul's Harringay
