Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I was hoping to buy some young tomatoes and peppers this year. Are there any places I can buy online or that are still open and selling live plants?

I hear pet shop in Park Rd open. Also Bloomers in High St Hornsey are. Or buy direct from nurseries

Thanks, Lesley!

Hi Lina, Wilco in Wood Green Shopping Centre are open and have seeds and compost etc so if you don't find any elsewhere maybe try just growing from seed?

I planted some pepper seeds 3-4 weeks ago and none of them have come up, so I am afraid my thumb isn't as green as I had once assumed it was.

Hi,

Sunshine Garden Centre are delivering locally. I got three bags of compost, seeds, bedding plants, herbs and trays today.

Send them an email directly to enquiries@sunshinegc.co.uk with your address and phone number.

They will call you back in the next few days and actually do the shop while you're on the phone! Delivery happens the same day or next.

Thanks for the tip! Do you remember what sort of live plants they have?

They seemed to have everything I asked for. Every type of herb; viola; lobelia; petunia; antirrhinum; myosotis.
