Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi everybody

Just a wee reminder that this weekend there are a whole host of free activities in the Warehouse District of Manor House.

Check out the inHOUSE Festival site or the Facebook page

Tonight there is some amazing live music including Cuban guitarist Ramsay performing an acoustic set, Maria Jose and Tom Laroye up at the Omnibus, and an LGBT screening and social on Overbury Road.

Tomorrow is the big one though with tonnes of events:

Food & Folk - Catwalk Place 1400-2100: Vegan pies, Catalonian street food and hotdogs, smoothies, craft beer and coffee... all to be consumed while listening to the folky tunes of Tim Jones and the Dark Lanterns, Bethan Rose Young, The Button Factory, Jakubowski, The Duke of Wellington Session Band and The Cabinet of Living Cinema. We also have the Market of Miscellany including clothes, music, art and some Henna.

inHOUSE Fashion Exhibition - The Omnibus, Eade Road 1300-1900: Fourteen local designers show off their amazing new costumes and designs in an upcycled space made of pallets and fabric. There are also fashion films being screened and a special visual installation exploring gender.

Live at 10a - 10a Overbury Road 1500-1900: An audiovisual exploration of a warehouse and its eclectic collection of creative minds. Let them lead you round and experience the unexpected.

We Are All F##### - 1 Button Factory, Catwalk Place 1945-2115: An ensemble of short films that reminds us of our place in the bigger picture (that is society). We are social animals after all. Ideology, politics, community, unfortunate accidents, or an uncertain future rooted in a nostalgia-fueled present bring up a valid question: are we all f#####?

Boxhead - Catwalk Place 1400-1800: Internationally renowned street artist, Boxhead, will be producing an original piece before your very eyes.

Saturday Social - The Omnibus 2000-0000: Live music at our beautiful Omnibus venue from Ziaflow (last years returning headliner), Ophelia ("raw British eloquence"), Safiwi, Qwestlife and Jamie J.

Video Killed the Radio Star - ExFed, 199 Eade Road 1900-0200: A night of visuals jockeying for position on the cavernous walls of the ex-Fedex building, good music with videos to back it up.

______

And then Sunday rounds off our ten day arts festival with a chilled afternoon of beats and bites. Sambatallion, a fifteen piece drumming troupe, provide the rhythm, and Das Brass the treble, with classic covers given a brass (and woodwind) makeover. bring Back the Love dish up their famously tasty Caribbean treats.

Come one, come all, entry is free free FREE. All we want is your happy smiling faces.
