Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Help clean up Harringay's New River path - Saturday 28 May
Clean Up UK and Thames 21 have organised a New River clean up day in Harringay. During the day volunteers will be working on the path from Enfield in the north all the way down to the new Woodberry Wetlands in the south.
We'll be sprucing up Harringay's New River path between Hampden Road and Wightman Road. We'll provide the gear, you provide the litter picking power!
The spring clean will be on Saturday 28 May starting at 10:00am. We'll meet up at the Hampden Road gate, opposite the mosque.
Can you please let us know if you can make it so we make sure we've got enough protective clothing and litter picking equipment for everyone. Send a private message to Michael Anderson with your email address so we can keep you up to date.

Yes. They should be collected today. Please let us know if this doesn't happen but the arrangement is that TW will remove.

An amazing effort from the Wightman Rd / Hampden Rd team - well done everyone!
The waste collection team sent by Thames Water had a little difficulty navigating the road blocks but they have assured me that it's all been collected.
Thanks to those of you who came down to the amazing volunteer's "thank you" lunch at Woodberry Wetlands afterwards too - it was great to link up with members of all 5 groups.

This is really fantastic! Only just reading it, but would certainly be keen to muck in next time. In fact, had written a letter to TW a few weeks back, after taking the NR Path down to the Wetlands on opening weekend, and finding the section between Seven Sisters Road and the reservoirs particularly grubby. Well done all!
