A mention of poppy seeds on this post about sunflowers plus the first nasturtium seeds starting to appear in the garden made me wonder if we could organise a Harringay seed swap at some point.
Seed exchanges usually take place about February time, I think, but if there were a few people who were interested we could all start saving seeds now for it.
We could make a night of it and maybe have a beer and do some seed swapping at the same time (I know, I know any excuse to go to the pub).
Let me know what you think and also ideas for the sorts of things that it might be good to save/swap. As a novice, I'm new to the whole seed gathering/storing thing so any pointers would be useful. I'm happy to 'organise' i.e. post a time and date for a meet up if there's enough interest.
I would love some poppies for our little garden. I'm not sure if I have any seeds but I do have some basil seedlings and have just planted some thyme and dill.
We need some colour in the garden because I think squirrels have dug up a lot of our bulbs.
