Haringey Council has just won a Cultural Impact funding bid with the Mayor of London for a £200,000 Cultural Feast.
The 'Feast' will be a takeover of Alexandra Palace to create a community gathering with locally sourced food. From crockery to napkins, everything will be made by local craft makers. Any money raised on craft sales will go towards food banks.

You're right Alan, London has become terrible. Perhaps best you flee immediately
Firstly, I'd like to clarify that I am neither a fan nor a relative of the Mayor of London.
Here's a little news item that might interest you:

You know, there's always something else to spend money on. If 200K was spent on food banks, I'm going to bet someone else would be upset it wasn't spent on potholes, and so on.
