Received the email below from Haringey LibDems.
Earlier this year I emailed local residents regarding library improvement works in the borough. I am following up with you to confirm that the plans for these improvements will be available for residents to view and comment on between Tuesday 4th June and Saturday 29th June at the following libraries: Alexandra Park, Coombes Croft, Highgate, Muswell Hill, St Ann’s and Stroud Green & Harringay.
The works are part of a £550,000 programme to improve and enhance our borough’s libraries and the plans have been developed from detailed condition surveys which have been carried out in each of the library buildings. The Council have also spent several months engaging with library staff and Friends of Libraries groups.
There will be two drop-in sessions at each library, giving residents an opportunity to speak to the relevant project team.
The dates for the drop in sessions are :
There will be feedback boxes at each library to leave comments or questions.

Harringay & Stroud Green Library plans are on display from tomorrow for a week.
The Friends of Stroud Green and Harringay Library are incredibly active and engaged in this process. They have been negotiating with the Library senior management for months about the plans to ensure the money is invested most effectively. They have been, and are, brilliant.
Good news is that the first floor 'flat' will be brought back into community use. I pushed hard for this approach ( and for all the other library spaces ) so the libraries are supported, used for all sorts of events and activities. In other words, use them not lose them!
So please do go and add your comments
