Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Haringay Draft Local Plan
Is there already a discussion running regarding the Haringey Draft Local Plan ?
This is the latest one produced by Haringey and it clearly affects Green Lanes and the Arena retail park.

(The closing dates for comments is 19th December)
It looks like the plan is to close the Arena Retail park and replace with high density housing (high rise flats?). T
I know Ian from Ladder Community Safety Partnership has made some comments and shared them with the group by email and it will be discussed at the meeting on 16th December.
Are there any other discussions going on ?

Good question, Anna C, as the Plan will be used by council officers, councillors and developers - and in planning appeals - for planning applications and decisions for the next five years. There are policies on important sites such as Ally Pally and open spaces like Finsbury Park (cough cough, Mr Carter)... Anyone can make suggestions for improvement or disagreement (too much high-rise? not enough cycling lanes?) and that will entitle you to speak at the Public Enquiry which considers the draft plan.
