Comment by Rod Henderson on our Facebook Page:

There's one or two on the corner of Woodlands Park Road, Salisbury end. Know nothing about it though. Surprised me too!

This is a fantastic project!!!

I took part in this with my boy who attends Woodlands Park Nursery.

Two photographers have been commissioned and are working with the children. About 3 trips were organised out into the local area with a parent and child, to take snaps of the area ie shops streets cars etc. I saw it as a way of seeing the world from a child’s perspective. On our return the photographers then printed off a contact sheet (thumbnails) of your child’s photos (about 30) then from those 30 your child had to pick 4 best ones.

An exhibition was organised in the nursery of the selected photos and from that exhibition a selection were printed and laminated and placed back at the place where they were taken.

Last week my boy and I traced our steps from the photo walkabout and we came across one that he took - Its on the Corner of Woodlands Park Road and St Ann's Road - I happen to have his favourite Mr Fox (cuddly toy) in my pocket - don’t ask me why - but I did and so he became a bit of a star in the photos he took - So Mr fox was standing on one of the Bollards. Nice to see the work out on the street. Mr Fox also stared in some photos in the fruit and veg shops - we had a great time - and had lots of fun doing it.

I believe the project was funded via CP (Creative Partnerships) Andy

Thanks Andy, 'mystery' solved. It's a delightful little project. We're enjoying trying to spot them.
I've seen 2 on Cranleigh road, and I love the idea.

My daughter goes to Woodlands and took some pictures inside nursery so she loves to spot the ones outside. I love that the nursery really encourages their creativity.
The photogropher involved has taken photos of the photos in situ and these are on display in digital frames in the nursery. They are stunning. I am trying to find out if they can be bought - because they would be a great fundraiser for the nursery -which like all childrens centres is facing huge cuts. Also, they are fab.
