Good experience with heating engineer October 2023
Hi all
Having read the heating engineer postings I tried a couple but no response, so I went to Which Trusted Traders and found Gus at Tavo Gas & Plumbing https://www.tavogas.co.uk/
He was very responsive, organised and good value.

Gus is great! I used him over Christmas when I had a leak above the kitchen. He's very calm and has a great attitude - nothing is too much trouble. He's also a registered Valiant (boiler) distributer and best of all, his prices are reasonable. My neighbours have started using him as well.

We also used Gus recently to replace some radiators, he was excellent. Communicative and managed to fit us around other jobs quite quickly.

Unfortunately my experience has not been so good. The guy failed to turn up twice and couldn't even be bothered to let me know. So I'll look for someone more reliable.

Hi,
Gus did eventually call me back and apologised profusely. He explained that he had got caught up in a lot of jobs and had lost track of who he had called etc, which I guess is very understandable at this time of year. He even came round to look at my heating problem free of charge, as recompense. Fortunately it turned out to be nothing serious, so I did not need any work to be done. However, he seemed very knowledgeable and a nice guy, so I would call him again.
