Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

A peaceful march has been organised for Saturday 2nd August at 2pm, starting out from Ducketts Common opposite Turnpike Lane Tube station and ending with a rally opposite the Haringey Civic Centre in Wood Green High Road.

Keith Flett, secretary of the Haringey TUC trade union said: “This is about human rights, it is about justice, it is about stopping the killing of civilians, including children.

“There is a significant anger in the borough about what is happening in Gaza and we want to see that turned into something practical- collecting for and sending medical aid.”

There are over 6 million Palestinian refugees. Most rot in refugee camps, without proper citizenship rights. The UN picks up the bill for most of the aid they need to live as they do not want to offend their American masters.

They are entirely true statements, but why let facts get in the way? Israel never has.

While people obviously feel strongly about the Israeli / Palestinian conflicts, maybe HOL is not the place to argue about them.

The government of Israel needs a boot put to their throat and quickly. This is time for a global safeguarding alert, lands repatriated by force or Israel boycotted to hell by the wider world and what's left of Palestine and the Palestinian people completely taken from Israel control and policed by the international community.

Also a rule to ensure neither Israel money or Palestinian money can support any British institutions that may influence any outcome in the region .
For a much more liberal view point than mine, watch Brand here, it' should be on the national
curriculam ...

(Film at the bottom, watch the whole thing)

Start your boycott by turning off your computer which is no doubt full of Israeli technology.

You for real ?
Ok, bring something to the 'party' more enlightening.

Thanks Philip.

THE TIME TO ASSEMBLE AT DUCKETTS COMMON IS 1.30PM    (SATURDAY 2nd AUGUST)

Maybe it's time to stop looking back at cause for a moment and deal with the present. Surely the most important thing is that over a thousand people have died and many thousands more injured in the past few weeks. The Gaza Strip is a tiny area that is home to hundreds of thousands who are suffering in ways that I simply cannot imagine. There will be plenty of time for who did what and who said what but isn't the only thing that matters right now is that the people in Gaza and their neighbours Israel need to stop dying?

people in Israel aren't dying, they are celebrating their genocidal government

There have been protests in Israel against the current offensive but the media choses to not cover them. Whether it is by a rocket landing on a school or a bomb in a market place every death is a cause for sadness
