Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Personally, I never got past an avatar that looked like a deformed rabbit or walking round the block before I got bored and returned to the comfort of my latest crime novel, but for some Second Life is a daily experience with 250,000 people logging in every day.

For every tale of virtual infidelity leading to real divorce, there are also tales of how people with severe disabilities get to lead an able-bodied second life or school kids go to Virtual France to improve their language skills so I don't doubt its benefits for some (probably my fault if I didn't 'get it')

One day soon, however, we could find ourselves all having to adopt a Second Life mentality as the Internet evolves, if Second Life founder, Philip Rosedale, gets his way. He believes that we "will move a lot of what we are doing on the internet today into these more lifelike, 3D spaces.

Let's hope the avatars improve first...

This is the film i was involved with.
Was at UK. Premier tonite at Odeon Panton Street, London.
Met Josh, we had not been in contact since before the film, had a great time.
There was a Q&A session afterwards.
Thanks James. may have to wait until it's on TV. What do you think a 3D space of Harringay online would look like? There would definitely have to be a Salisbury Pub with a Victor Meldrew corner
Can I book my place now ?
