Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Anyone fancy picking pears in N8 on Monday August?

We pick from trees that would otherwise see the fruit wasted. The usual routine is to pick and share the fruit, first with the householder and then between the pickers.

Yes please, was it the giant pear tree we picked last year?   Can't remember the name of the road.

Count me in.

Jane. Actually no, it is a different one, up Wood Green way. I will message you, if you can let me have your email address so I can send details easily.

What a good idea! I'd love to but my tree climbing days are over, Jus! The house opposite me has a massive pear tree which they never seem to harvest. J

Hi, you do not have to climb to pick, you can happily help the others that might climb. We often use poles like this. Would be happy if you wanted to come along, let me know and I can share details. We may have a couple of trees to pick.

Happy to come pick the tree opposite you as well at some time if they do not want the pears themselves? Let me know if you think it worth me having a word or if you have a word with them.

I am interested but it depends on the time...

10am to around midday Sam, but you can come I guess any point up to midday.

Guess you meant Monday September rather than Monday August Justin?

I know Crouch End is supposed to be the home of the Doctor but it doesn't mean we can all time-travel

I'd like to join in please.

Ha! Good spot Chris, quite right. Would be good to see you there. Will send details over the weekend when I know final numbers.

Where is it exactly? I've a doc's apt at 10 but am tempted to change it.

Just off the high road in Wood Green- Just beyond Woodside Park Sam

Coming! My apt is changed.

Grand- just sent you a message asking for your email. Jus
