Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This male black & white cat has been reported as found on 17th May in Avenue Rd N15 area. Mainly black with some white markings.

Unfortunately he has not been neutered and not been microchipped.

Hopefully the cat will be helped and neutered. Free Cat Neutering

The finder has put details on Pets Located

Animal Rescue charities like The Scratching Post recommend that it's vital for cats to be neutered and microchipped. Adult cats enjoy catflap access to a back garden - and they need catflap access to get back inside their home. They advise locking the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured. Remember not to let them out the front door by mistake.

Hi Justine, we live on Carlingford road N15. Ny neighbours cat who is missing looks like this cat although they say that he has a fair bit of white on his belly. Their cat is male and not neutered so this could well be him.
My neighbour is called Mike. I will pm you with his phone number.
Please would you phone him as they would like to come and see if this is their Billy.

Many Thanks,
Sonia

Thanks a lot Sonia. The easiest way to check if it's the same cat is - if Mike has a close up photo of his cat's whole face - as then can compare face markings with the photo on here.
If he doesn't have a photo, then I can explain how to find out more through Pets Located (I don't have the cat myself).
Has he registered his cat as lost on Animal Search and Pets Located?

This found cat is at the RSPCA Harmsworth Animal Hospital. Mike can call the hospital and ask about the cat with the Reference: N0087197

The hospital is at 22 Sonderburg Rd, London N7 7QD Tel 0300 123 0712.

They will ask him to come to the hospital and identify the cat to see if same, also bring proof of ownership.

If not the same cat, make sure the RSPCA have Mike's cat's details in case he is found.

(In addition, he should register his lost cat online on Animal Search and Pets Located - it's vital to show good photos).

Hi Justine, I will do get Mike to look at the markings and also give him the details of your last message too. Thank you so much for everything and o will let you know what the outcome is.

Best wishes,
Sonia
