Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

This black & white cat has been reported as found in Hermitage Rd N4 area on 9th June.

Hopefully someone will check if the cat is microchipped. Any vet will scan a cat for free to see if microchipped. You can also contact Stokey Cats and Dogs for advice.

(It's also important to get a cat neutered to prevent more homeless cats being born and to prevent injuries). Free Cat Neutering

The finder has put details on Pets Located

Animal Rescue charities like The Scratching Post recommend that it's vital for cats to be neutered and microchipped. Adult cats enjoy catflap access to a back garden - and they need catflap access to get back inside their home. They advise locking the catflap at night so that cats are safe inside at night as it reduces the risk of them getting lost or injured. Remember not to let them out the front door by mistake.

has anyone claimed her? She looks identical to our little one..

Sorry to hear your cat is missing. Is she microchipped and neutered? If she's microchipped, make sure the microchip company has your correct contact details, so that you can be contacted if she is found.

Hope you get good news. Best thing is if you initially closely compare a photo of your cat's face and paw markings with this cat's photo.
I don't know the latest detail on this found cat - the listing is still current which indicates that owner has not yet been found. To message the finder on Pets Located, you first need to register your own cat as lost on Pets Located (and remember to include good close up photos of your cat).  When you've registered your cat as lost, you can then message the finder of this cat on Pets Located.

Cost to register your cat as lost on Pets Located is from £5 (12 month (£12), 6 month (£9), 3 month (£7) and 1 month (£5) subscriptions per pet for lost pets). (It's free to register a found cat on Pets Located).

If the found cat was not microchipped (or if the owner has not given the microchip company their correct contact details), it is often the case that found Pets Located cats might be at the RSPCA Harmsworth Animal Hospital. You can call the hospital and ask if they have the cat with the reference N0088839. The hospital is at 22 Sonderburg Rd, London N7 7QD Tel 0300 123 0712. If they have the cat, they will ask you to come to the hospital and identify the cat to see if same, and also bring proof of ownership.

It's also useful to register a lost or found pet on Animal Search - it's free to do that.
