Emotional farewell for two much loved teachers at South Harringay Infants

Parents, staff and children, including past pupils, threw a big party today in the school playground to bid farewell to the head teacher Tinka Rojas and senior teacher Liz Nairn, who are both retiring.

Parents spent the afternoon buttering scones, blowing up balloons, lugging furniture about and stringing up the bunting to celebrate the wonderful work that Tinka and Liz have done over the years, through their tireless work at South Harringay Infants, creating a happy and successful school that lies in the heart of its diverse community.

They will be missed very much by us all.
