Does anyone know why the council have adopted a policy of covering dog poo with pink sand rather than actually just picking it up??
The passage is the usual dog poo minefield this morning (plus a charming human one) but is also covered in shit-tinged sand!
Is this supposed to be an improvement? Is there a reason?

It sounds like a good idea to me. Dog owners need to see the sh1t they cause.
We used to have someone sticking little flags in the dog shit.
Are you sure it isn't just the anti ice sand that they have put down in large heaps, like all over the pavement in Tottenham?
;-)
There's been plenty of warning. I'm sure they're all up for it.
If it does snow, can you please leave the shovels out when it stops so we can do the passage again?
I walk my dog with 3 bags in case he needs to relieve himself. Unfortunately due to inconsiderate dog owners using the path next to Bowes Park station, I too have to anxiously watch where my dog is walking in case he gets his paws covered in dog dirt. We need more signs warning dog owners that it's an offence to not clean up after their dog and more dog bins.
