Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

do you know a local landscape gardener, interested in working on community projects?

The newly set up South Haringey Nursery gardening group is looking for suggestions for local landscape gardeners/ architects who might be able to help on either a voluntary or paid (if we get funding) basis for work at the nursery next year. The project is in incredibly early stages so nothing is set in stone, but we'd like to speak to potential interested parties to get creative and budgetary ideas before xmas.
Please let me have any names and contact details of recommendations.
The ability to work to a tight budget and to create imaginative, child-friendly spaces is essential!
Thanks,
Jo

Hi Jo,

I am currently studying an MA in Architecture, currently researching permaculture design as a tool for local regeneration.

I am in the process of setting up a social enterprise, Just So Design, specialising in sustainable architecture + permaculture design in Haringey, and am looking to work with local projects. Would definitely be interested! Maybe we could meet and have a chat about what you need/what I can help with?

Sounds like a great project.

I studied horticulture and garden design at Capel Manor for three years. I have a particular interest in sustainable, ecological planting and would be happy to share my knowledge and skills if you think it might be of benefit.

I'll PM my contact details to you.

Do send your contact details, Helen, and I will get Nemone to get in touch with you. She's the one who needs to speak to you.
Thanks so much,
Jo

"South Harringay Nursery gardening group - try whitelaw turkington. They have a few local employees and did a great job on the school yard next to the finsbury park to highgate old railway line."
