Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Following recent developments at Antepliler, Selale and Gokyuzu, and five years after expanding into the laundry on the corner of Rutland Gardens, Turkish restaurant Diyarbakir last week submitted a planning application to extend their premises further by taking over the apparently soon-to-be former Poziomka grocery store premises.

Read the planning application here.

Take back control, after all.

Quick reminder that there is a proposed  restaurant expansion into 51 Grand Parade.
Diyabakir have applied for a  triple-fronted, change of use from A1retail to restaurant seating.

Good pointer. Please all put in your comments!

The application has been refused.  The officer report with the reasons for refusal is here

LCSP’s very well argued objection attached.

Really well put together and definitely reflected in the officer’s reasoning

Sadly Ian is getting a lot of practice, although I do wish he'd give up on this obvious nonsense: "Green Lanes Town Centre". Ummm... that would be Harringay?

It has to be forgiven as an eccentricity.

Its worth looking at the Harringay Traders’ submission too. It reads rather like it it was done as a matter of course with little hope of success.

Agreed - the refusal is a total slam dunk given the glaring contravention of key council policies.

Anyone who wants to comment on a new planning application for this extension can see more details on a new thread. You can see grounds for objection in my longer comment here.
