I had a bit of a nightmare with Florian. He initially said he could finish by christmas but just when he was due to start I got a call from a lady whose job she persuaded him to finish. He didnt call me himself because his English is quite bad.

I said ok, start first week of january as long as you categorically promise to finish my job once you start. Unfortunately, although he is quite cheap he works very slowly and kept making excuses to go back to his other job. The latest break was going to be 2 weeks, after pulling a sickie one day and taking days off here and there to go back to the other job. I finally lost patience and asked him to leave, having explained that I couldnt trust him to keep his word and that I've been living out of boxes long enough!

Very unprofessional in his commitment although his work is quite good. What annoyed me most was the way he never took responsibility for his own actions and played the victim, giving me endless excuses and stories about 'Ms Dafna'.

I have booked Jerome to finish the job. Although his quote wasnt as cheap he seems to be a much more reliable guy and much easier to communicate with!

We have not used Florian and perhaps he is very good, however he had been quite unreliable in preparation for doing a job for us - not turning up to an appointment because he stated that he forgot. We ended up not using him and are looking for someone else at the moment. I am only posting this for info - we liked him and his quote was very reasonable but were fed up with having waited in all morning with no apology until I called him a few days later.

I have used Zyber Hoti 07940910889 for several decorating jobs both inside and out. Extremely reliable and a good worker, not too expensive.
