COVID-19 Local Testing Sites in Haringey
Coronavirus Local Test Sites (LTS) are now operating in Haringey. You can apply for a test if you:
- have coronavirus symptoms now (a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; or a change to your sense of smell or taste)
- if you have been told to have a test before you go into hospital, for example, for surgery
- if you are an essential worker - your employer can ask for you to take a test if you are self-isolating because either you or member(s) of your household have coronavirus symptoms.
If you need a test, you can register online or call 119.
Where are the Local Test Sites in Haringey?
- Alexandra Palace, Hornsey Gate, Alexandra Palace Way, N8 7HP.
- Irish Centre, Pretoria Road, N17 8DX.
You must book an appointment in advance at both sites. They currently operate seven days a week from 8am until 8pm.

There are 2 apps the COVID 19 app and the NHS trace and track, the first one is useful if you want to find out the number of cases on a single day and also you have to get into it daily and let them know how you feel , if they feel that you need a test you’ll get one even if you have been told on line that you cannot get one because their symptoms vision is very narrow whereas the COVID 19 app is part of research and they are always looking for new symptoms. The trace and track will tell you in which category your borough is. Haringey has just been moved to HIGH.
