Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Council allows comments on its press releases (in Kirklees)

Just discovered that the council website run by Kirklees (via Nick Booth's blog) allows members of the public to comment on their press releases.

I wonder if Haringey Council would dare to allow such openness on their own site.

Grief, the council seems to take quite a drubbing in the example you give. Is that typical I wonder.

The closure of a school always raises temperatures. Still, think its a very forward looking thing to do, to have the 'conversation' going both ways. I do wonder, however, whether the council will actually take on board the comments made on their pages.

If all they get is a barrage of criticism, it's difficult to imagine that the facility will remain.
