Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Britains longest Hand Chain, along Harringay Passage, could we set it?

What is Britains longest ever human hand chain? i.e humans holding hands in one line.

According to Guinness World Records there is no official UK record for longest human hand chain.

I'm up for it ?

FoHP event?

Yes!

Me too!

All up for discussion on and off HoL as a potential event idea.
...Slowly walk gathering in a continuous coil at Fairland's Park, photo op's along the way, followed by some good food?

It's Fairland Park!

There was one back in the 80s at Greenham Common. Think it was about 14 miles long. I was in the middle somewhere and missed the coach home.
Still, sound good fun, especially the food at the end bit.
We need experienced hands on....
Only if I can chose who to hold hands with

I've now got a certain Beatles song as my earworm

"Embrace the Base" -I was there!

Michael you beat me to it, I don't think we were trying for Guinness book of Records though. 1982, 300,000 mostly women 'embraced the base' at Greenham. In 1983, 70,000 formed a chain from 14 miles Greenham to Aldermaston. I'm happy to embrace Harringay Passage- great idea.
