Of course. It's jus that turning right would be harder
It might actually be slightly easier at peak times because if someone is already turning right but has passed the box you can then enter the box.

Are these actual box junctions with criss-cross stripes?  Or boxes with 'Keep Clear' written on?  Because the former can apparently only be installed when they have cameras to monitor them.

The rejigged Tottnm One-Way desperately needs its junctions sorted and I asked for box junctions but got nowhere as Too Expensive.  So now even Keep Clear boxes would help, it's impossible to turn out of side roads in the morning jams that back up from the lights. Drivers are idiots and need yellow paint to make them behave - leaving a gap for traffic to turn out costs nothing when it's going to take at least three more changes of lights to get to the mighty freedom of Tottnm High Road, but they don't do it, probably too busy texting that they are going to be late.  Crossing the High Road from West Green Road /Broad Lane is also stupidly difficult because of creepy-forward traffic going nowhere.
