Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi. if you are anything like me you read a book and wonder what to do with it next. I hate the fact that they often gather dust and anre not read by anyone else. So, I have a couple that I will happily swap (or even give away if you don't have anything I might want in return).

  • Brand new, hardback Rob Byrdon autobiography: Small Man In A Big Book
  • The Missing- Tim Gautreaux
  • The Return of Capain John Emmett- Elizabeth Speller
  • The New York Trilogy- Paul Auster (good nick)
  • The Insider- Piers Morgan (not mine, honest!)
  • The Odessa File- Frederick Forsyth (well thumbed but a great book)
  • Stalin's Ghost- Martin Cruz Smith
  • The Finkler Question- Howard Jacobson (good nick)

Let me know if your boat is floated by any of these!

The Big Green Bookshop in Brampton Park Road, Wood Green, sells second-hand books which are donated to them.

This helps to re-circulate books people enjoy, and it's a way of supporting our great independent local bookshop.

Thanks Alan. I did wonder about the merits of undercutting the BGB... If I do not get any takers I will take them up on my next trip, or give them to the charity shop at the bottom of the road.

Give Simon or Tim a ring at the BGB and have a chat with them - 8881 6767. They may already have these titles.

Thanks Alan I didn't know that the BGB wanted second hand books. I have loads of books that I don't need, I'll see if they'd like them.

I was going to suggest a swap shelf at the Salisbury.
