Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi, we have a visitor from abroad this weekend and we'd like to take her out for breakfast. We usually go for a lovely Turkish breakfast, but our visitor is very keen on having a full English breakfast.

What are your favourite/the best places for an English cooked breakfast around Harringay or Wood Green?

Green Lanes Cafe. Smiling friendly staff and good breakfast menu.

Thanks!

N4 Eatery is pretty good.

N4 do good Turkish AND English breakfast!

Jam in a Jar's is pretty good. The one next to Turnpike Lane (Gonul?) is decent for a substantial, not special one. Blend's I don't particularly rate, tries to hard to make it fancy without getting the fundamentals right. We've still not replaced Lemon Cafe I don't think.

Yes, was also going to suggest Jam in a Jar. In addition they also have very interesting choices from the usual. Packed with millennials in weekends seeking their breakfast/brunch fix. Hopefully their extension will be open by this weekend so there maybe more seating available.

yep, one more vote for jam in a jar from me

Love how no one mentions Crouch End anymore. No need! As for Bounds Green ... not even sure where that is :) Support your local!

Both are a bit far... but i would suggest either: Park View cafe next to ally pally station for a proper greasy spoon.

Or The Step in bounds green for a more upmarket breakfast.

What ever you do, be careful with mezzo, its eye wateringly expensive for a basic breakfast.

Second that. Really nice cafe, and a lovely walk too.

Agree entirely - in a different class to the rest of the options which are only remarkable because of their existence...

In that case I'd expect Blend to be every bit as good since they run the Coal House at Woodberry Wetlands.
