To arrange a collection call the City of London Corporation on 020 7332 3433. You will need to tell them:
the name of the London Borough you live in,your full name, address and telephone number, details of the items to be collected.
You can have one free collection of asbestos each year but this is dependent on the quantity.

That's bad of them. As Maggie says, it's the City of London who provide the service. I think that Haringey Council take the issue very seriously. You could try reporting your difficulties to one of your local councillors, and the Cabinet Member for the Environment, Councillor Peray Ahmet.
