Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

With the "million" pound house on Duckett's now apparently sold - for an undisclosed sum - this morning saw the same Harringay agent list a 4 bedroom house on Frobisher for £835,000, making the 5 bed on Eade at £775,000 seem like a bargain.

So are local property prices hitting new heights, to the delight of some and the chagrin of others, or is this just an agent with too much lead in his pencil?

Welcome to the area; glad you're loving to it. You've chosen a great road!

Thanks.  So far everyone has been super nice.  Its exactly the neighbourhood we had hoped for.

There are still sometimes bargains in other parts of London.  But you have to move quickly. This "one bedroom period conversion"  had gone by the time I phoned. And no, it wasn't a spoof. (Click on photo to enlarge.)

What period, Rackmanism?

The Frobisher Road House a snip at £835,000 in Aug 2013 is now for sale at £795,000; so there is a limit in what people are prepared to pay. http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-42724163.html
