Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Any local makers of stylish face masks you'd like to recommend?

I'm more than happy to wear a face mask to go about my daily business.

I don't want to wear disposable ones and I'd also like my masks to be stylish. I've got some very pretty nature prints, but I'm thinking some Modernist prints might be nice too.

Please note that I'm not interested in whether or not you think you should wear a mask. If you want to debate that, start your own thread.

This thread is to get some recommendations for any local small business making washable masks.

So, any local crafters with an Etsy or online business that you want to give a shout out to?

I came across this on a FB group the other day and thought it was a cool initiative: https://www.n4cuttinghub.org

Based in Stroud Green and run by volunteers.

Diamond Geezer mentioned one in Stratford the other day, lovely Japanese fabrics, I hope that isn't too far away.  I'm planning to be tempted: Studio Masachuka

I've bought masks from Studio Masachuka and they're great

I bought some from the N4 Cutting Hub and they are really great quality.
Beautiful Prints as well.  Going to buy more for some friends.
Thanks for the Recommendation.

mamo.cotto.craft on Facebook - she lives near Ally Pally and makes really lovely masks, delivered by bike and with a donation to NHS charities for every one sold

My friend Laura - she's technically just across the way in Hackney, but definitely meets your other criteria!

She's a theatre costume designer by trade so with the world the way it is she's turned her hand at mask making.

Check out www.genderfreeworld.com They are based in Brighton and  they sell a wide variety of washable masks plus filters to add to them and spare nose clips to use when needed.

I'm a local maker who sells face masks. Free local bike delivery or collection.

They have nose wire, triple layer (100% cotton for the external layer, plus non-woven fabric in the central layer) and pocket to add a filter. Different sizes and a growing range of fabric patterns. http://cicia.etsy.com

Birdsong.london  is an ethical fashion social enterprise,  they have a nice line in masks - they are v expensive but the tencel ones we got fit really well.  Do other good stuff with their profits too,

I got a nice mask from here: https://hackney-mask.myshopify.com/
