That would be awful, Philip....um.....like almost as bad as continually insisting the someone was still a member of a particular political party despite their protestations to the contrary. Well thanks goodness no one here does that at least!
you can be very annoying Hugh; what with your even handedness and general sense of fair play....
Not nearly as good as Finding Nemo. Hank is the star.
Just saying
A good watch (for viewers of all ages).
people should boycott this film. 'Finding Nemo' has caused a massive decline in clown fish because they were caught so parents could buy them for their kids and then flush them down the loo when they got bored of them.
the blue tang ('Dory') in particular is apparently even more unsuitable as it can't be bred in captivity, but that hasn't stopped people catching as many as they can and starting a market in them already.

Has anyone got some reliable factual information about why ex-councillor Peter Morton resigned from the Council?
Naturally, he blocked me from viewing his twitter account. Which was odd since anyone can see it without any problem. Not that there's anything very interesting to see. Except that on 18 August he tweeted:
"I'm stepping down from @haringeycouncil to start a non-political job. It's been a privilege to be a councillor in our borough."
Which is accurate as far as it goes.
To learn more, I tried the Council's website but couldn't find anything. (Probably my own fault as I find it harder to navigate the site these days. It seems I have to register an account on something called "My Haringey" even to report dumped rubbish. Which is utterly stupid since it should be possible for anyone at all to report stuff via the website whether or not they live here and/or choose to register.)
Curious as ever, I looked up Peter Morton's declaration of interests online and found that this had last been updated on 30 March 2016. Apparently with nothing added since. At that time he had declared his: "employment, office, trade, profession or vocation carried on for profit or gain", as "Head of Communications, PhonepayPlus (Regulator)".
In addition, under the heading of: "Any body exercising functions of a public nature", Mr Morton had also entered: "Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust"
I searched the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Trust website but couldn't find Mr Morton listed. I imagine this may simply be out-of-date information which he forgot to remove. One of the problems with Haringey's move from paper to digital records is that in the olden days when I used to look up the paper records, to see who was and who wasn't breaking the rules, any changes were filed and dated.
Hopefully Mr Morton's replacement will be somebody who stays a little longer.
Never blocked people for disagreeing with me. I block some trolls and/or people who are abusive and/or boring and/or repetitive time wasters with nothing worthwhile to say. Also dubious business proposals involving mysterious bank funds. Plus people who claim to be young women mainly from the U.S.A who for some strange reason want to meet me.
Which are you?
Hi Kyra. We'll always have Paris.
He blocked me too :)
I notice that he only announced his resignation on Twitter after he saw me use HoL's auto-tweeting of new articles to notify him that I'd already let people know. See how I put his twitter handle in the first few words?
Apparently Peter Morton got a new job which was politically restricted.
I don't believe that for a second. We've lost two councillors now from the dodgy St Ann's selection. Ms Kober wants out too. Can we get some people serious about being councillors in here? Maybe an elected mayor too?
