Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Peter Morton (@pjmmor) has resigned as a Councillor in St Ann's. Remember how he was selected in 2013? So we'll have another Labour selection meeting and another by-election.

Brazened it out a bit longer than James though.

Easy on my old heart, John. For one desperate moment I thought Gina had gone AWOL.  But then how would one notice?

BTW anyone else noticed that ours has become the Rhyming Ward: Gina, Zena, Emina ?  As good a way of picking 'em as any other, I guess.

I'm still holding out for Karen, despite our minor differences on helical geodesics.

"We'll" - LOL - this isn't quite LabourHome (yet). Seema, who lives locally, must fancy her chances...

Of the four candidates/councillors involved in the St Ann's debacle, two are now gone.

What about the previous debacle? There has been more than one.

I'm not sure what Mr Haley is up to now but his deselection was all above board as far as I am aware.

"Within the rules" - where have we heard that before? He was (is?) in the LibDems.

How can you continue your ridiculous political tribalism that so many find off putting now that you're no longer a "member" of one of the tribes?

There were no objections raised about the meeting where he was deselected and although I felt sorry for him I do remember him telling an audience that I was in that he didn't have to answer a particular prickly question because he was a politician. Probably best out of politics while he still thinks that.

I was responding to the Royal "we" - and Foxe's endless and tiresome questions.

which are never answered.

For Justin Hinchcliffe, it's on at Wood Green Cineworld:

I know - suspect Mr Foxes only approves of the not-for-profit HIC.

You keep  ascribing opinions and attitudes to me for which you have no evidence. I ask  you questions which you avoid. Do you even know who you are or what you stand for?
