Lantern Making Workshop (booking essential) at Railway Fields

Join us for a family Lantern-making Workshop where you can use recycled materials to craft your own lantern to light up the December night! 

Book a family ticket (up to 4 people including one adult) here

Come join us at Railway Fields to make a lantern using recycled materials. Bring a clear or opaque plastic container eg. milk container, clear yoghurt pot. In the workshop you will decorate it using tissue paper, string and your own ideas! We will provide an LED candle to light it up.

Then join us at 4.30pm for a dark walk with your lantern around Railway Fields.

Due to limited space, we are ticketing the Lantern-making Workshop.

Please note that each Eventbrite ticket is a family ticket which enables four people to attend. All children must be accompanied by at least one adult.

The maximum number of tickets you can book is one which will give entry for up to four people e.g. one adult and three children or two adults and two children.

The lantern parade will take place at 4.30pm.

This is open to everyone who wants to come even if they don't have a place on the workshop.
