1,448 parks and green spaces this year received a Green Flag Award and people are now being urged to vote for the nation's favourite in the People's Choice Award.

Not forgetting charming and cherished Chestnuts...

One vote here for Ducketts Common ... it might not be high in the natural beauty or peace & quite stakes, but it has to be one of the most used green spaces in Haringey.

Basketball, football, outdoor gym, children's playground and large green spaces all just minutes away from transport links, shops & restaurants.

Judging by the number of people i see on DC everyday it's pretty popular.

Fairland Park? That was a bomb site filled with prefabs in the 40s/50s and one of them was home to a local hero family and their brave son, a victim of cerebral palsy (Spasticism as it was then called) . Nice to think it is now a park. I'll vote for it.

we like to moan about are Council but they do seem to do a very good job with their parks.

We are expected to moan mostly and thank rarely!
