Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi Hugh I hope you are well. I will discuss with the Neighbourhood Manager (when he gets back from holidays) how best to respond to the survey. I think that the best place is the Area Assembly but I am open to other ideas.

Regards

Gina Adamou

Gina, Yes, we could do. However, as the survey mostly re-affirms the current priorities, it might be better to look at it closely at the GLSG meeting cross referencing it with the on-going priorities. Then, we can give feedback to the Assembly. We might also discuss establishing proper processes to take into account all surveys that may be put forward.
Hugh, Many thanks for organising the survey.

Ah the Green Lanes strategy group. Then we'll never know what they action they have been or are going to take...unless they would like to publish the minutes of the meeting in which this survey is discussed for the benefit of the 150+ residents who took part.
"We might also discuss establishing proper processes to take into account all surveys that may be put forward. " , you mean after 5 years they aren't already in place? Has no one thought to take a survey of priorities and concerns before? Isn't it a bit late? Don't they finish at the end of this year? Or are they continuing and have 'forgotten' to tell residents or reported to them the results of the 5 year action plan? Or asked residents if this group's existence and work is how they wish to have things done in the next 5 years, given all the new government guidelines and advice at INVOLVING local residents in the decision making process?
