Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Pupils at South Harringay Junior School, on Mattison Road, have created a series of boards to quilt Wightman Bridge whilst the works are going on.

The school have called their work The Fabric of Haringey. The designs are taken from traditional fabric samples of the selected countries and brings them together to look like a patchwork quilt, serving as a metaphor for the population of this very multicultural neck of the woods.

Fantastic, I'm looking forward to seeing them up.

They are fantastic, and they are already up, lining the inside of the footbridge.

Beautiful!
