"That was my point about infrastructure Dom! How do the flats on Crouch End deal with their waste? They do not have these ridiculous things cluttering up the street."

"I expect appropriate infrastructure has something to do with it. That and some pride, or ability to be responsible for your own rubbish. I see shop keepers brushing rubbish out of their shops, and off the pavements- but rather than use a dustpan and…"

Recommendations for Quiet(ish) Roads for a Learner Driver

I have my daughter with me over Christmas and she is learning to drive. We have spent this afternoon up in the Noel Park area driving in circles around the roads (along with half the learner drivers in Haringey it seems). As we graduate to more difficult and busy roads any thoughts as to where we can go to find roads that are a bit more open and quiet (if they exist?). Keen to get her skills and confidence up before I throw her to the lions of London's roads! Thanks for any thoughts.See More

Is there a Pemberton Rd WhatsApp group? It would be great to be in the list.

Hey Justin,

thanks for getting back back to me! Really is appreciated.

Ive found a permit so if I could borrow the battery charger tomorrow that would be fantastic!

I’m new to using harringay online so can’t see your original message. When are you back around tomorrow?

Cheers!

Ben

Thanks for your kind offer Justin. We have a rent free room, which is adequate at the moment. My daughter attended Hornsey School for girls.

Hi Justin

Thanks for your message about the loft conversion and sorry for the super late reply. I didn't see the connection request!

I've tried to get in touch with Dan James but their website is no longer working. Do you know the story / have any contact details?

Thanks

Selina
