This is a long, low dresser base / sideboard, originally made for kitchen or pantry use. It features a thick solid timber top (likely oak or elm), four drawers across the top and open shelving below. The frame and drawers have been painted in a dark charcoal/black at a later date, which contrasts beautifully with the natural wood top.
The wine rack and wine fridge shown in the pictures are not included in the sale. Once removed, this returns the piece to its original open-shelf format if preferred. It reads as a classic farmhouse sideboard suitable for books, baskets, crockery or media storage. Simple, honest construction with good weight and presence – this is not flat-pack or modern reproduction.
