Donations help Food Bank meet increased demand

A big thank you to all those who have donated to our bank account recently. It has been most welcome and gives us a bit if 'breathing space'. Yes, I have been thinking for a while that we should be claiming gift aid on donations for those who are UK tax payers. If you have paid us recently then please let us have your email details so I can send you a Gift Aid Declaration form for you to complete and send back to us. This will enable us to claim additional funds.  I will contact others whom we have details for.

The last three weeks has seen a big increase in demand to 50 or more visitors, representing  many more household members. With help from Harvest Festival collections and our regular vegetable and bread donations, from trusted sources we have been able to give additional provisions who come to us.

Our current needs apart from finance are for tinned meat, biscuits, juice, tea, jars of coffee, toiletries and washing tablets.
