Chris responded saying he can’t help. no further information about why

Driveland – only have 2 automatic instructors who are booked up this mostly booked up this summer and one didn’t like the early morning lessons.

OK thanks. So he's still in business but busy. Just wanted to check id he'd gone out of business to save anyone else wasting their time.

You could ask the instructor if they can teach you using your elderly relative's car: many would be willing to do this even if their car is a manual.
