Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Cat scratching post as per photos. Quite large.

Untouched by feline paws. In fact my cats look at it contemptuously as they stroll by to wreck my sofas.
Nothing wrong with the scratching post, but my cats are psychos.

Free to whoever wants to come and get it in Allison Road.

I'm sure Stokey Cats and Dogs would love this for their rescue cats! Will message them.

A good way to get your cats to start using the scratching post is to rub Yeoww catnip on it.

That's great, thanks.
I've tried the lot. They have Maine Coon in them, so tend to thing they are in a higher order of destruction.

A slightly random reply- I also have pedigree cats with a disdain for the usual type scratching posts and a love of shredding furniture. However I've found they just love these cardboard ones, which I now have all over the house. I think its the destructive power of shredding things mine quite like  . They do literally shred them and you get bits coming out but at least they leave the furniture mostly alone and they're cheap. Mine have actually lasted for ages as they don't seem to mind them being torn etc..go figure!

This wedge version:

and the flat type- which they also like to sit on for some strange reason..

Yes our rescue cats love these cardboard cat dens

Mine love the flat cardboard one's as well - you can pick them up in Wiko in wood Green for £3.25: http://www.wilko.com/cat-toys+scratching-posts/wilko-cat-scratcher/...

many thanks. funnily enough, and coincidentally, my girl friend just bought one for me as her cat has one.

Just in case the charity is not interested, we are and can collect today - we've just rehomed two rescue cats from a shelter who would definitely love this.

Well done Caroline for giving two rescue cats a home.

Stokey Cats would love the scratching post. They don't have a car, but I can collect the post for them. (I sent you a connection request Iain, but you may not have seen it).

But whatever suits you - Iain and Caroline - happy if Caroline would like it - will be going to a good home whichever rescue cats!

Thanks - Stokey cats should definitely have it.

Sorry, I was out over most of the weekend.
I think it's a case of first dibs, so, Justine, if you want it, it's yours. Otherwise Caroline...
I'm flying around a bit this week, but I'm in tonight.

Thanks. Yes can collect today and have messaged you.

Is the scratch post still available?
