Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
massive radio aerial appeared next door.
The neighbours next door have popped up a 30ft or so aerial (i think) in their garden.
It connects into one of their windows, then connects to their chimneys.
Not entirely sure what their plan is, haven't had a chance to ask as I'm away and these photos come from my house sitter, but is this allowed?
Apart from being a bit of an eyesore it looks a bit dangerous.

I'm an active radio amateur, I've an aerial farm in my garden that even the BBC would be jealous of. This aerial looks like a G5RV type, it should cause no problems at all, the wire is almost certainly made of lightweight aluminium alloy with plastic insulators, if bundled, a baby could lift it with it's little finger. Nowadays, the operators exam structure is three-tiered, with the basic foundation licence allowing ten watts of power, which, when the conditions are right you could talk around the world on. For the non-technical, that's about the same power as an energy saver light, absolutely amazing!.
