Marathon News: A big thank-you to the Salisbury
As some of you know, I'm running the London Marathon on the 23rd April for the London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy, lately re-named "C-Potential" which if somewhat less informative is certainly less of a mouthful.
Anyway, on Saturday night the people who run the Salisbury kindly let me go round with a collecting tin, and the patrons ensured that it was nice and heavy just 30 minutes later.
So thanks to everyone again.

Spending your days running and your evenings pan-handling can be tiring, but it is well worthwhile, and I recommend it.

Thanks Hugh. Yes, the Centre is one of the jewels in Haringey's crown. Also Harringay can claim credit because John Martin, who grew up here and who still practices as a solicitor in Willoughby Road, has been the chair of their governors for many years.
