Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

While I quite like my BT service(BT Vision, Infinity Broadband, phone etc) The bill comes in at around £70pcm and have just been advised of a price hike(sorry, 'improvements to services') All the big providers seem to have some sort of cartel where they more or less match each other's prices. BT spends millions on Sport which has been a very poor decision which customers are paying for. I want fast broadband and recordable hard drive TV. Only have landline for broadband. Anyone got any workable suggestions?

Lucky for us, we live in London so depending on what you want, you might find this comparison site helpful - https://www.broadbandchoices.co.uk/

I have no wish to put you off leaving BT but have you spoken to them about it? We have BT Vision, Infinity broadband and phone and had gone off contract (so could terminate any/all of it on a month's notice). I spoke to them this morning and, by signing up to a new fixed term, we are now getting the Entertainment Plus TV package plus BT Sport, plus Infinity 2 broadband plus a free anytime calls package for a bit under £60, rising to £62 something when the prices go up in April and then August. It could have been a shade cheaper without BT Sport and/or sticking to Infinity 1, and the calls package is about £8.50 a month. There is a more expensive TV package so maybe you have that but if not then you should be able to get your bill down a bit.

thanks that is an option I look at...

Checked out SSE reviews...very poor...will talk to BT as you suggested....

Now looking at SSE deal which offers phone line, broadband etc for £20pcm. Not as fast as BT infinity but they also have a high speed at £40. Will check reviews
